Step 1: Build Volume and Texture with Sea Salt Spray
Start on damp or dry hair. Both work, so go with whatever your hair already is. Damp tends to give you a softer, looser wave; dry gives you more grip and separation right away.
Spray a generous amount of Sea Salt Spray all over. This is the step that builds volume and texture, so a light pass will not give you enough to work with. Cover the sides and the back of your hair too, not only the top.
Scrunch. Cup your hair in your hands, hold for a second, and let go. Work around your head until your hair looks lightly styled and you can see the wave starting to form. Sea Salt and Kelp Extract build the texture and volume, while Aloe Vera and Vitamin B5 keep your hair hydrated through it.
Step 2: Add Flexible Hold With Pomade
Take a small amount of Pomade, about the size of a dime, and rub it between your palms. Keep rubbing until it melts down and your hands look evenly coated with no clumps left.
Now scrunch it through the tips of your hair, staying away from your roots. The tips are where your waves need flexible hold; the roots need to stay free so your hair keeps its volume. Bentonite Clay and Beeswax hold the shape, and Jojoba Oil and Argan Oil keep it soft and hydrated.
Keep working your hair with your hands until you like how it sits, then let it air dry, and you’re done.
