Curl Refresh Spray

Unlike drugstore sprays that contain drying alcohols and heavy, synthetic polymers that weigh curls down or leave them frizzy and overly stiff, BASED uses lightweight, hydrating ingredients like Saccharide Isomerate and Bamboo Extract that actually help reactivate your curl pattern. Drugstore sprays use cheap, heavy ingredients that cause buildup - adding temporary moisture without bringing back definition, leaving curls wet and limp. When you choose BASED, you get a true curl refresh with zero compromise.

Spray onto slightly damp day 2 or 3 curls or whenever you need a refresh, focusing on areas that have lost definition. Scrunch curls gently to reactivate the pattern. Let it air dry or diffuse briefly. Works best when your hair still has some product from when you last styled it.

Yes. Use it to reactivate curls styled with any combination of the BASED Leave-In Conditioner , Curl Cream , Curl Mousse , or Curl Gel . The spray works by rehydrating and reactivating whatever products you originally styled with, bringing back their hold and definition.

No. Drugstore refresh sprays often use heavy polymers that leave sticky residue and weigh curls down. Our lightweight formula uses Saccharide Isomerate for lasting hydration and Bamboo Extract for elasticity - refreshing curls without any sticky, greasy, or heavy feel.

The BASED Curl Refresh Spray works for all curl types (2A-4C) with at least 2 inches of length. Anyone who does multi-day styling can benefit from refreshing their curls between wash days.

Yes. Our Curl Refresh Spray is formulated without parabens, silicones, and drying alcohols. We also never use cheap synthetic fragrances like others do. All of this makes it gentle enough for color-treated, keratin-treated, and chemically-treated hair like e.g. a perm.

Don't worry - that's why we created the BASED Guarantee. Most customers never need it, but if something isn't right, we've got you covered.
